Cardpont
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms apply to the Cardpont app and its licences. By installing Cardpont or buying a licence you agree to them. Cardpont is made by Roku Films (KVK 64916987) in the Netherlands.
Buying a licence
Licences are sold by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, which handles payment, invoices and sales tax. Their own buyer terms apply to the purchase itself.
What the licence gives you
- A one-time payment, no subscription. The licence is personal and works on up to two Macs of yours at the same time; you can move it to another Mac in Settings › License.
- All updates within the current major version (1.x) are included.
- You may use Cardpont for commercial work.
- You may not resell, share or publish your licence key, or try to work around the licence check.
Trial and previews
Cardpont can be used free of charge for 14 days. Pre-release (preview) versions are provided for testing, may contain bugs, and stop working after the date shown in the app.
Your footage is your responsibility
Cardpont copies and verifies your files with care, and only tells you a card is safe once every copy has been read back. Still, no software can rule out every failure of cards, drives, cables or computers. Keep following good on-set practice: keep at least two verified copies and don't format a card until you are sure.
Liability
Cardpont is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Roku Films (KVK 64916987) is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, including lost footage, lost income or reshoots, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies. Dutch law applies. Questions? Use the support form.
